OBJECTIVE

On successful completion of the course candidate will be able to perform in a better way the in rescue and fire fighting operations for aircraft & air emergencies, structural & industrial fires.

COURSE CONTENTS

  • Basic Fire Science, basic electricity, basic hydraulics & water supply, hoses and hose fittings, pump and primers, small gears,
  • Foam and foam making equipment, extinguishing medias,
  • Aircraft construction and fire hazards, airport fire hazards, aircraft crashes, aviation fuel and fuel tanks,
  • Emergency procedures, breathing apparatus, personal protective equipment, emergency
  • vehicles and ambulance, Grid maps and air traffic regulations, organization / fire service management, building fire, rural and urban fire,
  • Type of explosives & effects, radioactive materials, communication in fire service,

  First aid training, physiology of respiration, search and rescue operations.

  • Introduction to elements of fire, classification of fire.
  • Principle of combustion and extinction.
  • Type of extinguisher and technique of application of extinguishing agent. General behaviuor of smoke and flame.
